About me

Jordi Vinyoles

I am Jordi Vinyoles and, thanks to music, I have created UniSo, a space that is born from the connection between sound, people and shared experiences. Through percussion circles, UniSo rhythm sessions, shows, workshops, and contact with nature, I enjoy how the vibration of sound unites us, beyond rhythms and melodies. Each encounter, each experience, adds a new verse to my song, building a sound universe that we share together.

I play percussion and guitar, instruments that have accompanied me along a path full of learning. I trained with Lourdes Noguera and Jordi Creus, at the Escola de Música de Torelló and the Unió Musical de Vic, exploring different styles of guitar: electric, classical and flamenco with Edgar Vila. I have also studied music theory and harmony, as well as various percussions from around the world: African with Lluís Molas and West African masters, Latin with Enildo Rasua, Brazilian with Alan Sousa and Iberian percussion with Aleix Tobias.

My interest in the transformative power of sound has led me to train in sound therapy with Nestor Kornblum, Michel Averard and Nello Chiuminatto. I have trained in percussion circles with Pau Gimeno, Arthur Hull, Jane Bentley, Paul John Dear, Ray Watters, Mary Knysh and Santiago Vázquez. I am passionate about discovering ethnic instruments from around the world and exploring their harmonic richness.

For me, music is a bridge between worlds: it accompanies stage projects, workshops, rhythmic encounters and sessions in nature. Thanks to teachers like Tona Mestre and Caro Von Arend, I have learned to live and share profound experiences, connecting with the earth, the community, and life in harmony.

This is my path: to continue forward, uniting people and worlds with sound.

We will meet! 🎵
